Adding Multiple Skills at the Same Time

To bulk add a lot of skills in one go, click the Add Multiple button on the regular Add Skill window to open the Add Multiple Skills window instead. This window allows you to add skills with category names to your company quickly and easily.

In this window, each line represents either a skill or a category name.

Setting a Category

To specify a category name, simply enter it on a line on its own wrapped in curly braces ("{" and "}"), so for example you might have a category of "Office Skills", so you would enter "{Office Skills}" (without the quotes). Now every skill entered on the lines below this will belong to this category until another category is encountered.

Creating a Skill

Any non-braced line is treated as a skill. Skills will belong to the last specified category, or be marked as "Uncategorised" if no category has been specified.

Once created, you can then edit each skill to set detailed information such as shortcodes.


The below is an example for adding some basic categorised skills:

  • {Office Skills}
  • Bookkeeping
  • Human Resources
  • PAYE
  • {Workshop Skills}
  • Health & Safety
  • Lathe Operation
  • Manual Handling

This will quickly create two categories: "Office Skills", which consists of Bookkeeping, etc; and "Workshop Skills" which has "Health & Safety", etc.
