Account Settings Setting the Skill Range and Defining Skill Levels
Use the dropdown to select how granular you want people to be able to judge their skill proficiencies. The available options are:
Skill Levels from 0 to 3
Provides a basic range of values. This is a common range used in manual Skill Matrices.
Skill Levels from 0 to 10
A slightly larger, but still fairly course range. This allows people to be slightly more nuanced in their proficiency judgement.
Skill Levels from 0 to 100
Allows for fine control over perceived skill levels. This is more common among highly technical industries where a lot of nuance in skill levels may exist.
Skill Proficiency Labels
You can attach labels to particular skill levels within your selected range. This allows you to provide a more natural language feel to particular landmark skill proficiencies which may help people when judging their own skill levels.
Modify a Label
To modify the label of an existing skill value, simply type in the new label and click thebutton.
Remove a Label
To remove a label, click the button next to it, then click thebutton.
Add a New Label
Finally, to add a new value label, select the skill proficiency value from the dropdown at the bottom, enter an appropriate label, and click the button. Click thebutton to record the new label.
